NEWS AND UPDATES: BCCI Confirms India Won’t be Traveling to Pak for CT’25 as Pakistan Clinches Historic Win at Perth

BCCI Release Statement Regarding India Travelling To Pakistan 

BCCI, the Indian cricket board have confirmed that team India will not be traveling to Pakistan to participate in Champions Trophy 2025. ICC reveals that BCCI have informed them that their decision is backed up by the Indian government. The PCB and the ICC will now have to develop an alternate schedule and  plan for the Champions Trophy 2025, most likely a hybrid one in which teams will alternate between Pakistan and another location. The likelihood of this neutral location to be UAE is high.

Pakistan Team Sets New Records after Victory at Perth

The win in the third ODI and ultimately the series win have awarded the Pakistani team with numerous records. Pakistan have won a series in Australia after 22 years. Moreover, this series also marked Pakistan team’s highest number of sixes against Australia in a series in ODI cricket. This series win also marks the first victory under the new Pakistani skipper, Muhammad Rizwan.
