Shoaib Malik Accused of Match-Fixing
Former Pakistani batsman, Basit Ali accused Shoaib Malik of being involved in match-fixing in his recent YouTube video. Basit also expressed his disappointment and frustration at that Shoaib Malik was appointed as a mentor for the ongoing Champions One-Day Cup. Shoaib has yet to reply to this question about whether these accusations are true or not.

The match which was supposed to be held at Greater Noida cricket stadium was called off, without a single ball bowled due to heavy rains and a wet outfield. This led to the match being drawn between the two nations.
This draw has led to New Zealand with a bad record of playing on Indian Soil. Most of the matches the Kiwis have played in India have either been lost or drawn and only a handful of times have New Zealand celebrated their win in India.
England’s star Moeen Ali Retires From International Cricket
The key English all-rounder Moeen Ali has announced his retirement from International cricket, from all three formats at 37 years. On talking to a news channel, Moeen expressed that, “I’m 37 years old and didn’t get picked for this month’s Australia series”. He also told the news that he has done his part and now it’s time for the younger generation to replace him. The former English vice-captain has scored 2355 runs in ODI, 1229 runs in T20, and 3094 runs in test format.
South African Women Cricket Team Arrives In Pakistan
The women Proteas team landed in Multan on 13th September 2024 to participate in a 3-match T20 series. The team led by Laura Wolvaardt received a warm welcome at Multan International Airport. The 1st T20 match between the two nations will be played on 16th September at Multan Cricket Stadium.
